Give pots, garden beds or nursery plants a watering point that you can adjust after installation. Turning the red cap changes the flow and the wetted area, so one outlet can be set for a small plant and opened further when its root zone expands. The listed adjustment range is 0–70 L/h; actual output depends on the pressure available at that emitter.
The small barbed inlet is designed for compatible micro tubing or a punched poly lateral. Position the emitter close enough to wet the intended root zone without directing water onto a walkway or unused soil. Check the tubing fit before laying out a large number of outlets.
Start with the cap at a low setting, run the full zone and watch how the soil wets around each plant. Add the operating flow of all emitters when sizing the supply and filter the water upstream. If output becomes uneven, remove the cap to inspect and clean the flow path, then flush the line before returning it to service.
